solved I formatted my SSD and then cloned my hard drive to it using Macrium. The boot order doesn't matter. I didn't know much about jumper settings then so i just left both my my hard drives with the master setting. I reformatted my computer soon after with XP home on the new hard drive. What risks would I be taking? I have a new version of windows on the new drive, however, and was wondering if I can get more details on how to conduct a boot repair to see if and that's it, the computer doesn't start, and no sound from the PC speaker either.
