Svchost Problem


At home running McAfee and have just had BDC problems with Vista recovery - hoping trojan is not in there but heaps more svchost programs running than I recall. The nice thing about process explorer is that it gets you the friendly name for each process instead of the short name.

August 17, 2008 craig smith Thanks this helped me alot. The best I can do now is keep manually stopping the process every time it crops up again every few minutes. In my opinion this agent changes itself with older version at the registry records without your knowledge and permission as a trusted installer mode.
