Svhost.exe Uses 100% CPU On Start Up

Microsoft has recognized this problem and has released a patch. It was svchost.exe -k netsvcs being the heavy user. (Another was listed but not using the CPU like the first one.) By following it's relationships in the program, I systematically turned I also deleted the SoftwareDistribution and Temp folders. right click windows update and go to properties 4.

However, I still constantly lose the HP drivers and have to repeatedly re-add the device. Svchost.exe Cpu Additionally, if you are noticing very heavy CPU usage on a single svchost.exe instance you can restart the services running under that instance.
Are there any better expessions? Restart the computer to see if this has resolved the problem. Change the type to 'manual' from 'automatic' to prevent these services from starting up at boot time. Elohir might have a solution too because the patch referenced is included in the IE8 install (make sure you select download updates).

MS or somebody must have sent some remote commands to all the XP Windows Update Agents recently. Windows update does, however, present some serious flaws and apparant memory leaks when connecting to the update site. When I executed the Microsoft patch -x86.exe again it told me it was already installed. Thereafter Windows Update will perform as it should.
