You may need to adjust your antivirus program (like turn off Norton’s Tamper Protection feature) or perform scans before attempting to run System Restore again. If I choose "Startup Repair" I get this...If I choose "System Restore" I get this...If I choose "System Image Recovery" I get this...And...Windows memory diag works fine.and...Command line works fine. And before going to System Recovery Options do see Select "Select the operating system you want to repair?" Windows 7 Won't Boot Into Safe Mode
If however you find system restore not working, there might be a number of things to check before you reinstall Windows. You can also use System Restore if Startup Repair doesn't work. No resolution.
Anyone with experience in this topic or suggestions?
