To remove all these pointless programs, open the Control Panel’s Programs and Features page, and have a trawl through the list of installed software. Now another thing if anyone can help:- being in the UK we tend to use the date as DDMMYY or DDMMYYYY. While I am sure not the latest or fastest, it should still be fast.

To speed up a slow pc, use that tab to locate and shut down pesky rogue processes, and MSConfig to stop them from starting when windows boots. (Selective startup, then pick It's like never throwing away the packaging when you buy a new TV and by doing so it'll free-up space on your system. It looks this is happening only under certain configurations.
