Download and install LiveUpdate for Windows Me/98 Download the lusetup.exe file for Windows Me/98. Hi, User's choice. Be the first to comment... If it is dial-up or some other low speed connection as it seems to be then it will indeed take a long time.
- How can I fix this problem?
- After the download finishes, double-click the lusetup.exe icon on the desktop to install LiveUpdate.
- When I runn liveupdate manually I get the same results as the original poster.

This is important because in older versions of NIS the LiveUpdate module was a separate module that had to be updated and re-installed separately, but in newer versions of NIS, the What is your exact version of NIS from Help & Support > About? Another link I found added to the message that your system is still protected by the other layers of protection in the Norton Product. Walk through the support wizard and see if NIS is able to detect and correct any problems it might find. Select the LiveUpdate Endpoint Protection and right click the mouse button and select Uninstall/Change to uninstall the LiveUpdate Endpoint Protection. most of the time means it's norton problem not just my computer.
