Have you run a virus scan lately? If you've installed or tried to install anything recently and the problem began then, then that's a likely scenario. The viruses that have been making the news are all fairly sophisticated and apparently well written. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Aren't Data element supposed to be encased in double quotes? Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
However, I disabled maxembfz and I ran a new virus scan. Did not help. Several functions may not work.
