System32 Opens At Start Up
A few items came up highlighted, mostly in red - what does red mean? Script error message now always opens during startup in Software and Apps A script error message started opening about a week after I upgraded from Win 8.1 to Win 10. I could post a screenshot if you'd like as well. Windows 10 opens folder at boot; msconfig stuck at selective startup in General Support 1. Oops, something's wrong below. then I read "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\explorer\Run-kernel32.dll with an image path of c:\Windows\system32\", went into the registry and found it and voila! - Failure to initialize- fixed with a reboot except of course, Creative Audigy 2--had to reinstall Media Source.
- I have to choose "Open" or "Open in New Window" to get it right.
- Rather than risk possibly deleting a vital file I simply went to "System Restore" (using Windows XP that's in Programs - Accessories - System Tools) Choosing to restore to a date

Did Plutarch Heavensbee actually not know the details of the Quarter Quell? I recently installed SAMSUNG LCD monitor, it has an app called MutiScreen which had created a blank entry in the registry. The first thing to do is check the startup run registry entries with AutoRuns and if any are present, remove those entries.If that does not resolve the issue, #260 at Kellys System32 Folder Keeps Popping Up It's now called: Part 3.a #4.a and #5.a to follow.

These scripts are not malicious, but they do make changes to the System Registry. If it is a broken process of some sort, then it isn't working anyway, so just clean it out the registry.
