It's possible this problem has something to do with the new Electrolysis (e10s) multi-processing architecture being rolled out to Firefox users. I could see that multi-processing was enabled in my configuration I had over 7000 conathst.exe all running ! Loading... so I am currently OK. I would say XP is much preferable to me as I have heard stories about later Windows versions where some people still don't understand it. This

When I restarted the computer I forgot to place the xp disc into the cdrom and the computer booted up in the normal sequence.
