I also have Ad-Aware and have run it but it doesn't seem to help. Attempting to override project prefs. cate/stopspam.asp is better then[/ref] nothing.

- Easily fixed, either reboot the system or navigate to your BOINC programs directory and (double)click on boinctray.exe, starting it.

The way it is now, the poor user is left thinking their preferences are being ignored. Seems some spyware or something keeps popping up > browser windows when the system is left on but unattended > for a while. I'm setting the ticket to 'worksforme', as in .33, .34, .37 and .38 the idle detection all works for me on Windows 7 64bit Ultimate.

Just click the sign up button to choose a username and then you can ask your own questions on the forum. My system on task manager is taking up 100% of my C: disc! Thanks for the link though. So, doing an upgrade installation, you will find that boinctray.exe stops working.
