So, simply plugging the mouse into a rear USB port means my system image was loaded. As you probably know the task scheduler stopped working along with windows backup and my antivirus software. From my guess, upgrading to Windows 10 failed to delete the old entries after re-arranging them in the registry. I have been able to create a new task (Defragment). It turns out that the USB ports on the side of the PC dont load up in that state.
